Mandy and Francesca were very informative when they visited me at home, with the best ways of filling a cup with tea and leaving me with an alarm for this purpose. Also leaving me with a white stick, a gadget to write letters and a signature card, this was all very much appreciated. And orange dots to locate the keyholes in the house.

I had a Stroke in September & lost the sight to my right eye. I have been waiting for some help from silcs since then. I have been out to see how I am with crossing roads. I've been told I need a long cane to help me. Since my stroke I have only been out a couple of time & not felt comfortable as i have bumped in to people & other things. I have now been told I will get more help late January or the middle of February. I cant go out on my own now & have to wait for someone to take me out in to our village.
