Action for Blind People support blind and partially sighted people in all aspects of their lives. At this office, which is able to help people living in Wiltshire, Swindon, Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton, Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole, this includes:
- information, advice, support and training on specialised IT equipment and software
- comprehensive support to get work or stay in your job when you have sight loss, as well as guidance for employers
- information and practical support to help you lead an independent life, including advice on welfare rights and housing
- support for children, young people and families affected by sight loss
- counselling service, offering free emotional support to anyone who is affected by sight loss, whether you have sight loss yourself or are supporting someone who is blind or partially sighted.

    Action for Blind and Partially Sighted People are good for all of their service which they provide and I enjoy working with them as a Visually Impaired Volunteer.
