Action for Blind People is a national charity with local reach, providing practical help and support to blind and partially sighted people of all ages. We listen, we understand, we act.

Information and advice on practical solutions to promote independent living, including information on welfare rights, housing, employment and using technology.
Eye Clinic Liaison Officers (ECLOs): Offering immediate help in hospital eye clinics, providing instant access to support, practical information, signposting and onward referrals. ECLOs are based at Bradford, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Rotherham and Wakefield.
Opportunities for blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 4 to 16 to participate in sporting, leisure and social activities.
Support and guidance for visually impaired young people aged 14 to 25 and their families.
