Two well equipped resource centres:
- information and advice
- home visiting and My Guide
- Low Vision service (Gateshead only)
- Rehabilitation and Mobility services
- telephone support
- advocacy
- benefits advice including form filling help and tribunal representation
- IT training (see below)
- visual awareness training
- social clubs
- young persons' group (under 19s).
ICT information:
- has computers equipped with screen magnification and screen reading software
- has staff or volunteers that can teach people reliant on magnification and screen reading software
- can teach blind or partially sighted people how to operate a computer using just a keyboard
- can produce course materials in an accessible format.

ICT courses detail:
- ICT training available at both entry level and level 2
