Map for Mulberry House
Owned by Action on Hearing Loss, Mulberry House provides specialist residential care for six deaf and deafblind people aged 18 and over who have additional complex needs such as learning or physical disabilities and mental ill-health. Support includes 24 hour staff cover and key workers for each person.
Mulberry House has six fully self-contained flats, one of which is fully wheelchair accessible – this gives people a feeling of independence and community living but within the safety of a residential environment. There is also a communal kitchen and lounge with TV and DVD player where people like to spend time chatting and relaxing together or with their friends and family. The large garden has seating, raised flower planters and a lawn. There is also a private car park and a vehicle that can be used for day-to-day errands and appointments.
