The NAES makes and supplies artificial eyes, cosmetic shells for NHS patients and war pensioners. This service incurs no cost to the patient or the referring hospital. It is a national service available to patients at approximately 70 hospitals throughout England and is administered by Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Hospitals NHS Trust.

    The treatment I have received from this organisation is first class. Sally Pritchett has provided an excellent service, cleverly matching, arranging production and fitting my new eye. I am very grateful to her and to the wonderful team at Blackpool.
