The centre is also the Association's headquarters from which a range of services are run including:
- information and advice
- quarterly newsletter
- demonstration and loan (when possible) of specialist electronic aids
- welfare officer
- agent for British Wireless for the Blind Fund
- home visiting service (someone to come and chat to you, read your mail or a newspaper, do small odd jobs, and accompany you on short walks or trips to the shops or doctors)
- an early intervention scheme, in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council
- exhibitions of specialist equipment
- technology suite with opportunities for IT training
- awareness training
- braille transcription
- counselling service
- audio book (tape) library.

The Association also runs a Sight Advisory Desk at Oxford Eye Hospital.
