Owned by Action on Hearing Loss, Roper House offers residential care to 27 deaf and deafblind adults with disabilities who are 18 years and over. As well as residential care there are a small number of supported living flats, day care facilities and some outreach services.
Support and care includes 24 hour staff cover and key workers for each person.
The impressive-looking house has 24 bedrooms, and three supported living flats. Most of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and they can offer a wide range of facilities, including two living rooms with TV and DVD players, a large dining area and separate kitchen and specially adapted bathrooms and toilets, an activities room offering arts, crafts and other creative pursuits and large, picturesque grounds with two conservatories. Roper House have also got a car so that you can get out and about.
