Description

RNC is the UK’s leading Further Education college for people who are blind and partially sighted, aged 16+.

RNC offers a wide range of A levels, BTEC and NVQ subjects, including additional training in Information Technology, Braille, mobility and independent living skills. RNC promotes the personal development of its students with an emphasis on personal responsibility and preparing its students for university, employment and independent living.

Classes are friendly and informal and class sizes at RNC are small and some work is done on a one-to-one basis when appropriate.

The College is based on a large residential campus in Hereford, consisting of a large student village, Arts Centre, including visual recording suite, recording studio, art room and theatre. RNC also boasts its own sports centre, thePoint4 - home to local Paralympians and RNC’s Visually Impaired Sports Academy.
