MyBus provides accessible transport services to those who meet at least one of the following criteria:
-are aged 80 and over
-registered blind
-in receipt of higher rate DLA Mobility Component, Attendance Allowance or War Pensioners Mobility Supplement.

Persons may also access the service on medical grounds or for a short period where a temporary disability exists.

MyBus and MyBus Rural operate in local zones across the whole of the former Strathclyde area. Covers local trips for shopping, visiting friends, attending clubs, doctors, health centre appointments and hospital visiting. MyBus is not available for hospital appointments.

If you hold a valid Scottish Citizens National Entitlement Card you can travel for free. If you do not, fares are applicable and vary according to distance travelled.

You must register to use services. Services operate at different times, call for more details. You should book your journey at least one day before you would like to travel.

    This service is very good. I have Parkinson and other ailments and had to give up driving. Very good service and drivers very helpful. Thank you for running this service as it enables me to get about.

    I contacted the My Bus service five years ago for my mother who is 87. In those five years I have never been able to get though to the operators, you are held in a queue and this goes on for two and a half hours. Its days before you get through - even then you never get the day you ask for or the time. My mother needs it because of her health, the operators often give her half an hour to get through a busy supermarket. The drivers are late but we never get the time back, that should be ours. We have to make up for drivers late times. Poor service.
