Cam Sight provides practical emotional support, information and advice to local people with sight loss.
There are two Low Vision Equipment Centres in Cambridge and Wisbech holding a wide range of products including magnifiers, lighting, big button telephones and talking clocks and watches. The specialist team can demonstrate items, discuss what could be useful for you and offer advice and training.
The Community Support Team make home visits to assess needs, discuss and advise on daily living difficulties including equipment, benefit claims, employment, travel and provide links to other local organisations and volunteers.
They also hold social groups for young people and their families and peer support groups for adults.
