Suffolk Sight's community workers have years of experience and will work with you, offering ideas and solutions to help improve your confidence, independence and lifestyle.
Community workers
A community worker will visit you in your home and discuss your
needs and can offer:
• independence training and daily living skills training
• improvements to lighting
• a safety assessment including fire alarms and security
• help with benefits and concessions
• technology advice and training
• aids to reading
• advice on transport and mobility.
Resource Centres:
From their offices in either Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds, their
community workers will help you choose from a wide range of
equipment, from talking watches to reading aids, to discover what
meets your needs best.

748800 (Bury St Edmunds office) to make an appointment so as
to ensure that a community worker is available for you.
