The Association helps anyone with visual problems and its services and activities include:

- Resource Centre equipped with a variety of daily living aids
- Agent for British Wireless for the Blind Fund
- community workers: home visits for initial assessment of needs and subsequent visits when needed
- benefits advice: home visits and help completing forms
- social clubs: for meetings and outings in Brandon, Bury St Edmunds, Clare, Hadleigh, Haverhill, Mildenhall, Newmarket, Pakenham and Sudbury
- face-to-face and telephone befriending
- newsletter
- Macular Disease Support Group
- computer training available and chance to try out assistive computer software
- Low Vision Therapy (LVT) - referrals to the service are through the association's helpline or local opticians.
