The Fed provides advice, support and care for Jewish people living in Great Manchester.
Community services for children and families
Consists of two complementary projects which work closely together – Children & Families’ Social Work Team and Project Smile. Together they offer support to children with special needs, or in need, and their families. Support is given by social works, family support workers and volunteers.
Community services for adults and older people
Offers a range of social care services including people with sight loss. They help with individual and carer assessments, help with benefits and grants, arrange support, work with Local Authorities and provide advice on moving into a care home.
The Fed also have a large care home called Heathlands Village which provides day services, respite care, dementia care, end of life care and long term care.
The home is also happy to accept residents and day service users of other faiths or no faith.
