Altrincham Shopmobility

The Shopmobility scheme provides powered and non-powered wheelchairs and scooters. These can be hired on an hourly basis or for longer periods if required The rate for powered scooters/wheelchairs is £2.00 per hour or £50.00 per week, non-powered wheelchairs are also available.

The service is available for use by anybody with mobility difficulties either as a result of permanent or temporary disablement.

You must register to use the service. If you are a regular user of the service, a yearly membership of £25 allows unlimited hire of powered and non-powered wheelchairs and scooters each time you come into the town.

Opening hours are Monday – Saturday 10am – 3pm (as this service is manned by volunteers it is advisable to ring before attending for the first time).
