Organisation details

Provides community transport throughout the Borough of Scarborough. Services operate as and when required based on bookings. There is an annual membership fee and the cost of trips is calculated by the mile.

There is a ring and ride service across Whitby and immediate surrounding areas for people over 60 or registered disabled. Fares are based on a zoning system. Journeys can be booked up to a week in advance, and should be booked no later than 24 hours before you want to travel.

A volunteer car scheme is available to help you get to the hospital, doctors, appointments, visit friends and go shopping. A small annual fee is required and you pay per mileage the cost of the journey to the volunteer driver.

The Whitby shopper bus is also available in Esk Valley which runs on Thursdays fortnightly. This service is not age restricted, but must be pre-booked. Please call 01947 606440 on Monday or Tuesday's.
