The Accessible Friends Network (TAFN) is a UK registered charity operating globally via the internet to provide support, training and leisure activities for blind and visually impaired people. TAFN operates almost entirely online and its members can participate in a number of lively and informative email lists as well as drawing on the many useful and entertaining resources held on its public and members only websites.

TAFN also has a chat server which allows members to talk to other people in real time from all around the world. TAFN uses this system to deliver a whole host of activities such as quizzes and word games, structured chat events, music based events in addition to a number of educational sessions including computer skills and creative writing classes. All you need to get started is a windows PC with a microphone or headset and a connection to the internet. Annual membership is £15.50 and a free 1 month trial is available.

tafn has changed my life and thats no mean feat ,untill i joined tafn i was very much a loner ,now i host quizs ,am a member of the events team and honestly i would be lost without tafn. we have just had our biannual cameo weekend and to find out more about that pop to the site sign up and have a good mooch ,chat and you too willl be hooked like me,

TAFN is good for makeing frends and haveing a laf. if any one does want to join us they will be made welcome. so why not give it a try.

Well what can i say a great group i have been with TAFN from when we first started in 2004 and every year gets better and better the cameo is a great way of meeting people who you would not normally meet and there is always some thing going on every day for example quiz's playing music and a great chat as well so why not give it a go its free for 1 month then just £12 per year
